New Boys House – Orphanage Emmanuel

New Boys House

After a fire at Nueva Esperanza, a government orphanage in the northern part of Honduras, Orphanage Emmanuel took in nearly 100 children. Added to other recent new arrivals, Emmanuel’s population had grown by 25% in just a few months. With 520 children it is the largest orphanage in Honduras. The World Orphan Fund provided a grant of $75,000 to build a new boys house to alleviate overcrowding.
